BEPA, alongside the IPCEIs and Battery 2030+ is co organising the Battery Innovation Days (BID), Europe’s go-to event for battery research and innovation, where ideas, technologies, and people across the battery value chain come together to shape the future of energy storage.

From breakthrough research to real-world applications, recycling, and sustainability, BID explores the full battery lifecycle and the trends driving Europe’s battery ecosystem forward.

The 6th edition of Battery Innovation Days is coming to Stockholm , Sweden on, 11-12 November 2026, in a hybrid format. Expect two days of inspiring talks, interactive sessions, a vibrant exhibition at Stockholmassen and plenty of opportunities to connect both onsite and online.

The sixth edition of the Battery Young Researcher Award will take place during the Battery Innovation Days. Technologieland Hessen is the sponsor of the Battery Young Researcher Award this year.
